A few of our attendees subscribe to the foreskin restoration email list that we have linked from our site. The volume of messages on the list has been declining of late, and we assume part of the reason is the increasing popularity of websites devoted to restoration. Through the late 90s, when far fewer people had internet connections (using slower modems, too!) there were no websites with forums or bulletin boards where we could trade advice and talk about restoring. It's changed a great deal in the last decade, with the popularity of sites such as the now-defunct restoreforeskin.org, and the current sites linked on our Message Boards page - especially restoringforeskin.org, and foreskin-restoration.net.

There has been recent news that the American Academy of Pediatrics is reexamining its stance on circumcision. While there has been no comment from the group on whether anything might change, anti-circumcision groups have expressed concern that it might take a more permissive stance.
